A mother elephant hating her baby is an extremely rare and unusual phenomenon in the animal kingdom. Elephants are known for their strong maternal instincts and deep emotional bonds. However, in rare cases, a mother elephant may reject her baby due to stress, illness, or environmental pressures.
Sometimes, first-time mothers may be overwhelmed and confused by the birthing process. If they are in captivity or under extreme stress, they might display aggression toward their newborns.
